Agent sites are the actual physical/geographical locations where agents work.
Note: A physical site must be created on the OneAdmin application prior to become available on OneContact Portal interface. Click here to learn more.
All configurations with bandwidth control between sites; supervisor allocations, codec selection according with the agent’s location; media servers per site and outbound dial prefixes are directly done in the GUIs of the OneContact Portal and OneAdmin interfaces.
Calls preferably use local agents - typically, calls originated in the geographical area nearest to a site will be headed to that site. If there’s no agent available for a specific amount of time in the nearest site, the router will try to use agents from other sites, following a specific sequence.
This sequence is determined by the available bandwidth of each site. The more available bandwidth on a "secondary" site, the more chance it will have to receive the re-routed calls.
A country code can be associated to a site. When executing external calls, the configured country code will be applied to outgoing number. If None is selected, no country code will be applied.
