Call barring profiles defines a set of rules applied whenever the agent places an outbound call. The profile can be used to define barring and call traffic routing.
On the Call barring profiles page, you can:
Call barring profiles list
The Manage call barring profiles window shows a list of profiles created, along with the selected information about them:
On the Call barring profiles homepage you can:
- Edit the information displayed
- Refresh the information displayed
- Filter the information displayed
- Delete a profile
To edit the information displayed:
- Click on
to open the settings pop-up:
- On the pop-up:
- Click on the check box of the information you want displayed.
- The selected columns have a
and are presented on a list on top.
- The unselected columns have a
and are present on a list below.
- Click SAVE to apply changes.
The information available for selection is:
Name | - | The profile identification. |
Description | - | The profile description. |
Used by | - | Which services have this profiled assigned. |
Tip: Click on a profile, from the list, to open that profile configuration page.
To refresh the information displayed:
- Click on
.
To filter the information displayed:
- Click on
.
- Select a category from the drop-down menu.
- On the selected category, click on
.
- Select the desired itens.
Note: Click onto delete the filter.
To delete a profile:
- Select the profile(s) by clicking on the row's checkbox.
- On the top right-side of the screen, click on
to delete the dial plan(s).
or - Click on
on the dial plan's row.
- Click on Delete from the drop-down menu.
Create a Call barring Profile
Click on to open the Create profile pop-up window:
On the Create profile pop-up window:
- Insert the profile name (mandatory).
- Insert a profile description (mandatory).
- Select, on Default call barring profile, if the profile is the default (if there's no call barring profile associated this will be the used one) or not.
- Click SAVE to apply changes and close the pop-up window.

Edit Profile
Click on the profile, on the list, to open the profile page:
Edit profiles allows you to:
- Edit the profile information
- Edit the profile settings
- Configure the authorization rules
- See the agent profiles
- See the campaigns assigned
Edit the profile information
Click on to open the profile pop-up window:
On the Edit profile pop-up window:
- Insert the profile name (mandatory).
- Insert a profile description (mandatory).
- Select, on Default call barring profile, if the profile is the default (if there's no call barring profile associated this will be the used one) or not.
- Click SAVE to apply changes and close the pop-up window.
Edit the Call barring profile
Click on to open the drop-down menu:
On the drop-down menu you can:
- Delete - Delete the profile.
- Duplicate - Duplicate the profile.
Configure the authorization rules
Click on to open the authorization rules pop-up window:
On the create rule pop-up window you can:
- Click
to edit a dial plan.
- Click
to delete a dial plan.
- Click on
to open the Create rule pop-up window:

On the Create rule pop-up window:
- Insert the rule's name (mandatory).
- Insert the rule's description.
- Insert the expression, on Match expression.
- Select,on type, if the rule created allow interactions or doesn't allow interactions.
- Select the channel from the drop down menu.
- Click SAVE to apply changes and close the pop-up window.
- Click SAVE to apply changes and close the pop-up window.
See the call barring profile users
On the Agent profiles tab you can see the users associated with the call barring profile:
Tip: Click on a user, from the list, to open that user configuration page.
See the campaigns assigned with the call barring profile
On the Campaigns tab you can see the campaigns associated with the call barring profile:
