Starting and logging in to OneContact Agent

To start OneContact Agent, point your browser to https://serverdomain/OneAgentWeb_installname.

Fill in the fields:

  • Username and Password are mandatory.
  • Extension is optional.
    If your default extension is configured, it will be used if you leave this field blank.
    Note: If the key AllowExtensionConfiguration on OneContact Agent's web.config is set to false, the extension configuration will not be available.
  • Instance is required if the server is unable to derive it from resolving the address.
    Pictured below is an example of a failed resolving, in which case Instance must be manually typed in.
  • Click Login.

 

If you're using IE as browser and have OneScreenRecorder configured as the screen recorder, before the login on OneContact Agent, there's a registering on screen recording. The following notifications will be displayed:

If the Screen Recording registering is successful, OneContact Agent is displayed:

If the Screen Recorder registering is unsuccessful, the error page is displayed before redirecting you to the login page:

During the Screen Recorder registering, any calls that are sent to you are rejected, as you are in a busy state.

Note: After you log in, you may be prompted to allow/deny access to the microphone, and to allow unsafe scripts to run. Allow both.
 Note: In load balancing scenarios OneContact Agent can reconnect to a new web server in a transparent fashion, with a token authentication, allowing fallover to another server without loosing the current session. To know more about load balancing scenarios, click here.
OneContact Agent requires enabled cookies to work properly. If your system has cookies disabled, OneContact Agent will show the following pop-up:

To activate cookies in IE:
  1. Select Internet Options, from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click Advanced, from the Settings section of the tab.
  4. Click the checkbox next to Always allow session cookies.

To activate cookies in Chrome:
  1. Select Settings, from the Tools menu.
  2. Click on Advanced.
  3. Click on Content Settings.
  4. Click on Cookies.
  5. Check Allow sites to save and read cookie data.

OneContact Agent uses OneContactLogin to authenticate the agent's credentials:

  1. Insert the tenant name:

  2. Click NEXT to proceed.
  3. Insert email or username and password:

  4. Click SIGN IN to proceed.
