Enhancement Details

Enhancement #92464

Title
Configurable Early-Media in blind transfers

Component
Service

Detailed Information
When a call is blind transferred, if the target sends a Session Progress response, the transferee receives a re-INVITE in order to establish a session with the target. It should be possible to configure OneContactPBX in order not to forward the SDP of the Session Progress response to the transferee.

Product Changes
There's a new configuration parameter - Ignore183OnRefer - which, when set to true, makes OneContactPBX ignore all 183 responses during blind transfers. Moreover, in this case, the INVITE to the transfer destination does not contain any SDP, in order to prevent early-media coming from the destination.

Enhancement #91653

Title
Configurable Early Media for Hunting Groups

Component
Service

Detailed Information
Add a new configuration parameter to control whether Session Progress responses are forwarded to the caller or not when the target is a Hunting Group.

Product Changes
There's a new configuration parameter - Ignore183OnHGs - which, when set to true, makes OneContactPBX ignore all 183 responses during Hunting Group calls. Note that this only applies to non-parallel groups, since in parallel groups, these responses are always ignored.

Enhancement #92285

Title
Apply Hunting Group failover after WQ

Component
Service

Detailed Information
Currently, after a Hunting Group Waiting Queue times out or reaches the number of maximum loops, OneContactPBX is not capable of forwarding the call to another number. It should be able to do so, keeping the user parked until the destination answers or rejects the call.

Product Changes
OneContactPBX is now capable of forwarding calls after they're put in the waiting queue of a Hunting Group. So if the group has the waiting queue enabled, the call will be first put in the queue, and only when the queue times out or the number of maximum loops is reached will the call be forwarded to the failover number.
This feature has a limitation. When forwarding the call to a sequential group after the waiting queue, only the first extension of the group will be called. It will keep ringing until the call is answered or hung up.
